Manager Core Services (Tx/IP) MPLS/Network Opt/Mkt Plg

This position is responsible for the following:
Manager Data Services / Network Optimisation / Market Planning is a presales and business continuity functions supporting carrier customer PAN India.

The main responsibilities includes -
•Timely response to RFI/RFP (Request for Information and Request for Proposal)
•Planning, Optimization and solution development for Data MPLS & IP related services which includes MPLS VPN, Carriers Interconnections and Internet.
•Market planning entails forward projections of demand, trends to make network ready for the future demands and challenges.
•Enhance network and network planner capabilities for quick solutions to customer demands.
•Sharp eye on the commercials of the network.
•Capex reduction, Time to delivery minimization
•Introduction of new technologies for better utilization of existing network.
•Complete Pre-sales support to Sales team.
•Conducting planning workshops/review sessions with corporate and regional planning teams as well as with customer to align the teams.
•Participate in strategic meetings with customer to anticipate the trends in the business requirement.
•Handling the resources allocation (Mainly Network Elements).
•Develop a long lasting relationship with customer.
•Feedback to other departments in WCB for more opportunities by obtaining market insight during customer interactions.
•Create the processes required to efficiently discharge the duties and standard reporting formats as required by Carrier Customers and for internal consumptions.
•Handling escalations from customer as well as internal team wrt the RFP etc and supervise the closure.
•Manage the logical development of the services and solutions for customer.
•Managing cross functional interactions for maintain the Services within organization, vendors and customers.
•Develop a long lasting relationship with customer.

Principal Accountabilities:
•Regular interaction with customer.
•Responding to RFI/RFP.
•Conversion in to RFQ/Network requirement and making CAPEX for the same.
•Participating in Business Case development.
•Data collection and upkeep with network teams for quick response to customers.
•Conducting Workshop with Network and Customer team
•Sharing BW requirement projections with network teams quarterly to meet the demands in time.
•New technology introduction for maximal utilization of the network
•Documentation of RFI/RFP till Term sheet and MSA closure before handing over to project Management team and the Contract Management

Qualification & Exp:
Essential: B.Tech/B. Engg.
Desirable:Hands-on experience on MPLS, VPN, Internet technologies are must along with exposure to Copper, Optical and Microwave media Transmission systems.

•Min Exp 10-12 years with Large Telcos in MPLS & IP network Planning or O&M. Latest MPLS, Traffic Engineering, Carrier Interconnections, NGN-Voice integration & Internet along with planning software will be an added advantage.
•Shall have experience in handling Carrier/Enterprise Customers for solution.
•Must have good working knowledge on MS-Office, Reports and Presentation.
•Worked in similar function of presales with vendors would also be an added advantage.

Manager Contract Management

This position is responsible for the following:
•Represent, Drive, Preparation, review, drafting, assist in interpretations, negotiate, define performance measures, commercial analysis, legal vetting, obtaining internal approvals, closure of the contract, signing and storage of the contract.
•Managing contracts with clients, subcontractors and each stake holder etc. by ensuring contract compliance by each stakeholder clause by clause.
•Ensure release of guidelines and methods concerning the contract clauses to monitor the progress and compliance for each stakeholder
•Assist the sales team and presales team to monitor the contract implementation in compliance with terms and conditions and clause by clause compliance is maintained.
•Identify the risks and opportunities of claims and dispute for both parties. Handle arbitrations/claims. Ensure follow up and data upkeep to make or refute claims.
•Ensure the sales, project managers, commercial (Finance and Tax) and legal representatives are available in contract negotiations so that the clauses are defined in attainable measurable parameters. Leave no room for litigations.
•Motivate each stakeholder to comply with the contract clauses.
•Manage and protect contractual rights and associated legal implications.
•Ensure that the contracts are constantly monitored and suitably amended pre and post implementation and during implementation to safeguard companies interest. Manage the contract thru its entire life cycle.
•Conduct periodic structured reviews, to foresee requirement of the amendment in the contract, forewarning stakeholders any possible violation of clause.
•Consistently monitor the defined measurable KPIs to ensure satisfaction of the customer and also to bring out the sufficiency/deficiency of the contract.
•Maintain a superior client relationship for avoiding claims and counterclaims by escalating the issues right in time before the parties set in the dispute mode.
•Enhance the organizational capability to handle similar contracts in a more professional and smoother fashion.
•Managing the term sheet for each new addition of term, validity and applicability of term sheet in line with the licensing requirement.
•Summarization of deviations and modifications for review meetings and mapping with clauses and approvals from competent authorities in organization.
•Presentation of Tracker sheet of contract deliverables and weekly reports, manage records and retrieval system for records.
•Ensure compliance to the local laws, statutes/rules and regulations
•Assist each stakeholder – customer, company, circles to achieve compliance. Conduct random audit of the activity tracke for few circles once a month and flash the achievements as well as deficiencies. Suggest corrective actions.
•Stay Abreast with the latest happening in the field of law, telecom and recommend suitable actions

Principal Accountabilities:
•Provide Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Contract Compliance Report
•Facilitate non compliance Escalations.
•Meet Target contract compliance.
•Manage Documentation on all MSA, Term Sheets, Deviation etc.
•Make and share the contract deliverables and process for the achievement of the compliance

Qualification & Experience:
•Essential: B.Tech/B. Engg.
•Desired: Legal Training on contract management or Telecom Regulatory environment will be an added advantage.

•Min Exp 10-12 years with Large Telcos, at least 5 years of Program Management and Contract Management, contract negotiations, claim management experience.
•Experience in Big Infrastructure projects like full telecom rollout of a region or an operators PAN India Network will be preferred
•High level of commercial, legal and regulatory awareness
Proven ability to create, review and analyze contracting models and underlying terms and conditions
•Ability to compile, track and analyze legal-commercial information, claims, notices, disputes, financial performance of varied contracts.
•Compilation of relevant information from varied systems and tools; and creation of reports, to monitor performance and governance of contracts, for financial and non financial parameters, across the lifecycle of a contract.
•Recording and monitoring of all claims, disputes, notices etc with respect to a contract.
•Excellent ability in Drafting, Review and Analysis of contracting Models
•Excellent ability to communicate, interpret the terms used in telecom domain.
•Knowledge of Telecom norms
•Exposure to Arbitration during implementation of contracts
•Exposure with Telecom Operator or Vendor in Contracting or bidding department wil be preferred
•Shall have experience in handling Carrier/Enterprise Customers
•Must have good working knowledge on MS-Office, Reports and Presentation

•Hands-on experience on PDH, SDH, DWDM technologies
•Copper, Optical and Microwave media.
•Experienced in Budgeting and AOP making.
•Shall have experience in handling Carrier/Enterprise Customers for solution.
•Must have good working knowledge on MS-Office, Reports and Presentation.
•Worked in similar function of presales with vendors would also be an added advantage.

Head Marcom (Sr Mgr/DGM)

Role Objective:

To execute branding and marketing communication initiatives within the circle. Ensure all marketing communication is aligned with brand & corporate identity guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Support launch of new products through execution of branding and local communication initiatives.
•Execute market research (guidelines from corporate) based on circle specific issues.
•Execute circle level events & road shows.
•Work with alliances partners to execute joint promotions.
•Work with circle sales team to create & develop PoS and promotional material at a regional level. Maintain availability of stocks of PoS material.

General Accountability

To ensure achievement of sales targets by selling wireline and wireless voice and data products in given set of accounts with end to end responsibility with major focus on revenue enhancement.


Nature and Scope:

To build voice and data revenues in the Major and key accounts
Account Management in a geography for prescribed accounts as a complete owner for Sales and post sales customer management.
To engage with leadership teams and build long term relationships.
To understand the Customer’s business in depth and seek opportunities for business development.
To bring the domain/vertical understanding into EBS and share internally with Vertical function, Solution Architects and Product Management.

Circle Head VAS (DGM)

Immediate requirement for a leading telecom client in Mumbai. Position reports to Circle Head Marketing.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Study customer requirements on an ongoing basis for identifying opportunities for new value added services. Provide feedback to Circle Head Marketing & Corporate VAS Head.
• Coordinate new service technical configuration/development as well as all development in IT, Engineering, IVR & Prompts.
• Ensure progress in local VAS implementation and take corrective actions, if required to ensure delivery as per prescribed standards.
• Ensure testing both product as well as billing/rating.
• Ensure training of channel staff on VAS.
• Work with Circle Marketing Head to ensure promotion of VAS
• Work with sales to develop VAS based targets for channel partners.
• Monitor performance of existing VAS on an ongoing basis, identify areas of improvements & implement the same.
• Provide feedback on competitor activities in VAS.

KRAS:
• Revenue generation from VAS within circle.
• % of revenue generated from new services launched during the year.
• Timely implementation of all VAS targets.
• Ensure timely and comprehensive feedback on competitor activities and market opportunities.
Others:
• Interact with IT for software customization and back end billing.
• Interact with Network to ensure network performance and network enhancement capabilities.

Education & Exp:
• Graduate/Graduate Engineer & MBA in Mktg from a reputed institute.
• Relevant experience of 6+yrs with a telecom operator.
