Manager Access Service FOTS (Network Opt/Mkt Plg)

Manager Access Services FOTS / Network Optimisation / Market Planning is a presales and business continuity functions supporting carrier customer PAN India.

The main responsibilities includes:-
•Timely response to RFI/RFP (Request for Information and Request for Proposal)
•Planning, Optimization and solution development for Transmission related services which includes Bandwidth, wavelength, Dark Fiber, Ducts.
•Market planning entails forward projections of demand, trends to make network ready for the future demands and challenges.
•Enhance network and network planner capabilities for quick solutions to customer demands.
•Sharp eye on the commercials of the network.
•Capex reduction, Time to delivery minimization
•Introduction of new technologies for better utilization of existing network.
•Complete Pre-sales support to Sales team.
•Conducting planning workshops/review sessions with corporate and regional planning teams as well as with customer to align the teams.
•Participate in strategic meetings with customer to anticipate the trends in the business requirement.
•Handling the resources allocation (Mainly Network Elements).
•Develop a long lasting relationship with customer.
•Feedback to other departments in WCB for more opportunities by obtaining market insight during customer interactions.
•Create the processes required to efficiently discharge the duties and standard reporting formats as required by Carrier Customers and for internal consumptions.
•Handling escalations from customer as well as internal team wrt the RFP etc and supervise the closure.
•Manage the logical development of the services and solutions for customer.
•Managing cross functional interactions for maintain the Services within organization, vendors and customers.
•Develop a long lasting relationship with customer.

Principal Accountabilities:-
•Regular interaction with customer.
•Responding to RFI/RFP.
•Conversion in to RFQ/Network requirement and making CAPEX for the same.
•Participating in Business Case development.
•Data collection and upkeep with network teams for quick response to customers.
•Conducting Workshop with Network and Customer team
•Sharing BW requirement projections with network teams quarterly to meet the demands in time.
•New technology introduction for maximal utilization of the network
•Documentation of RFI/RFP till Term sheet and MSA closure before handing over to project Management team and the Contract Management

Qualification & Exp:-

•Essential: Engineering Graduate (B.Tech/B.Engg)
•Desired: Training in optical technologies viz; SDH, MSPP, OTN & ASON
•Min Exp 10-12 years with Large Telcos in PDH/SDH/DWDM network Planning or O&M. Latest EoSDH or MSPP, OTN and ASON along with planning software will be an added advantage.
•Hands-on experience on PDH, SDH, DWDM technologies
•Copper, Optical and Microwave media.
•Experienced in Budgeting and AOP making.
•Shall have experience in handling Carrier/Enterprise Customers for solution.
•Must have good working knowledge on MS-Office, Reports and Presentation.
•Worked in similar function of presales with vendors would also be an added advantage.
